Apple is currently accepting pre-orders for its inaugural spatial computing device, the Apple Vision Pro. The pre-order option is accessible through the company’s online store in the United States. Presently, availability is restricted to the U.S.

Priced at $3,500, the Vision Pro boasts an aluminum alloy frame with a laminated glass front. It is furnished with two 4K micro OLED displays totaling 23 million pixels. The device incorporates over a dozen cameras that perform various functions, including tracking eye movements, registering hand gestures for control, and mapping the wearer’s surroundings.

A magnetically attached, fitted Light Seal conforms to the wearer’s face, blocking out ambient light. The package includes two bands: the Solo Knit Band, made of stretchy braided material, and the Dual Loop Band, featuring an additional strap for improved weight distribution.

Functioning as a mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro can display augmented reality content overlaid on the real world or entirely virtual immersive content.

A video was shared by Apple CEO Tim Cook on social media platform X. “A peek behind the scenes to see how we make Apple Vision Pro, our first spatial computer,”
